New Lambeth 'Borough Plan'

Lambeth Council are renewing the Borough Plan – a key document that will tell the story of our shared vision for the future, with a particular focus on the borough we want to live, work, and visit by 2030.

And they want (need) to hear from us!

As part of their process to shape the Borough Plan with residents, local voluntary and community groups and partners, they have asked Lambeth Links to hold a session so we can come together and make sure our perspectives and voices are heard so that it’s a Borough Plan for all the residents of Lambeth.

Workshop details:

  • Saturday 26 November 2-4pm

  • Brixton Library Brixton Oval, London SW2 1JQ

  • Light refreshments and food will be provided

Session plan: We all have our own interests and lived experience of what it means to live and work in Lambeth as part of the LGBTQ+ Community. This is a chance to learn more about the Borough Plan process and milestones, and give your views of what the future of the borough should look like from our perspective and the impact it has on us, exploring themes such healthy neighbourhoods, safety, equity and communities. We will also be discussing the work Lambeth Links are planning on doing on health inequalities.

We need as many voices from across our Community as possible; older, younger, trans and non-binary, lesbian, people of colour so please share this far and wide.

It will then be Lambeth Links' job to see this through, make sure that what we say is reflected and followed through on.

If you’re unable to make this Lambeth Council and Lambeth Links workshop, you can sign up to other Lambeth Council workshops in December – find out more here. You can also complete their Lambeth 2030 Survey.

This is an important opportunity to influence the future of the area, we hope you can make it!
