Parapride are celebrating their 2nd birthday with a new online event series. To kick thing off they'd like you to join them for their 'Dis-section' panel event on Wednesday 9th June 18.00 - 19.00.
The topic is: 'Disabling stereotypes: disability representation in the media and the LGBTQ+ society'.
The panel will be formed by a line up of influential figures, who will discuss the need for more positive representation of disabled people in the media, and how we can embrace, promote and celebrate diversities. NO to tokenism, and YES to empowerment & equality to truly reflect a beautiful, resilient and proud community!
'Dis-section' (disability section) will be an online series providing an inclusive and safe digital space where open, honest and respectful conversations can happen about topics that are often not talked about in the wider LGBTQ+ community.
